Erasmus KA1 project

The project 'Teachers Learning and Teaching Trough Play' is linked with our KA2 project 'Creating Tomorrow's Schools Today'. The main aim of it is to promote a pedagogical renewal for teachers in the School Santísima Trinidad in Salamanca. This project is a great opportunity establish even closer collaborations with European schools.

This KA1 project is devoted to school education staff mobilities, which in this case will be:

- 1 Job shadowing in Ynystawe Primary School in Swansea, Wales,UK ( school that uses a methodology based on Waldorf, Montessori and Summerhill principles)
- 1 Job shadowing  in Zespół Szkół Społecznych nr 3 BTO, Białystok, Poland (school wich has traditionally taught chess in Primary education).
- 1 Training Course in the use of Lego for STEM in SATRO foundation.
- 2 Training courses to improve the level of English and to learn more about CLIL.

As a result of the previous training activities and job shadowing experiences, the participants will improve their personal and professional competences. At the end of the day, and this is what actually matters, our students will be the final beneficiaries since they will be taught by teachers who learned through play. Now more than ever, children need help connecting deeply to learning through play.

The object of this Blog is to share with other European teachers our experiences in these mobilities that will be taking place from now until 2017.

This project is 100% funded by the European Union. (http://www.sepie.es)
