Multiplying like a Japanese engineer!

On this occasion I have conducted a maths lesson. First, we watched a video where it is shown a very visual method to multiply. According to You Tube, that is the method used by Japanese engineers. 

Children really liked it and kept asking for more multiplications, as they really enjoyed drawing the lines, counting the intersections....

You can see they were fully engaged:

Podróż do Polski

Going from Salamanca to Bialystok is a great trip, as  my coleagues already said when they travelled  there to celebrate the 4th-transnational-meeting-poland

First, the airport. I was very lucky throughout the whole trip, as everything was on time from the very beginning up to my arrival in Bialystok.

After waiting in the airport, the flight takes around three hours and a half!

But I got to Warsaw save and sound and on time (important because a taxi was waiting for me at nine ;-)

The hotel was perfect and perfectly located, next to LAZIENKI PARK, where I went for a walk before taking the bus to Bialystok (thank you very much, Joanna!!). 

The bus departed at 12:55 from Plac Defilad, so I could take a quick picture of the Palace Of Culture and Science... And that was all for Warsaw :-(

It was nearly four o'clock when I got to my accommodation...

Right now, I am sitting at this table writing this post. Here I will spend the next couple of weeks...

Canterbury experience

I am José Saura, I have been two weeks in Canterbury, last summer, doing a general English course. I have spent two weeks in the city, enjoying the course and such a lovely place to live, from all its angles. 

The course was divided in different sessions with different teachers. During 3 hours per day, I had the chance to improve my English level enjoying many ways of learning. Basically, the course was focus on speaking skills, in order to improve our speaking ability. It was interesting because we also had the opportunity to face all kinds of daily situations. In addition, I had the chance to know a lot of interesting people from different countries. It was an amazing opportunity to use English with the aim of communicating with all of them and also to immerse into the English language in a city context.

Canterbury is a small city situated in the east coast of England. It is a very beautiful city with many stores and pubs. Many people usually go to Canterbury to improve their English level. I hope to come back in the future, very soon.
